Luciano Leggio

Boss of Corleone


Luciano Leggio, better known as Luciano Liggio due to a transcription error, was born in Corleone on January 6, 1925, and died in Nuoro on November 15, 1993. Known as "The Red Primrose of Corleone," he was one of the most powerful bosses of Cosa Nostra, a key figure in the rise of the Corleonesi clan, and among the main defendants in the Maxi Trial of Palermo.
