Michele Navarra became, in the aftermath of the First World War, the boss of Corleone. But he's a particular mafioso, being a medical graduate who runs the hospital in Bianchi. He doesn't want to leave his town because he wants to be its hegemon, both the healthcare director and the mafia boss. He wants to instill fear and gather gratitude; he wants everything and is willing to do anything to obtain it. This marks the beginning of the tragedy of the Corleonesi, from Liggio to Riina to Provenzano and Bagarella.
