Michele Cavataio, known as "the Cobra," was the leading figure of the Acquasanta Mafia and was killed in the so-called massacre of Viale Lazio. Among his killers were Riina and Provenzano, but there are many instigators because almost everyone wanted him dead, as they considered him responsible for sparking the first Mafia war. But was Cavataio really the culprit?
